
SCHOLARSHIP
As part of our commitment to serving our community, Bobcat Youth Football Organization offers scholarships for football players, cheerleaders, and dancers to families in our area. To apply, simply click on the link below and fill out the confidential application for scholarship consideration.
Scholarships range from 50% - 100% off of registration fees and are awarded based on need.
Depending on availability, BYFO may be able to offer equipment like helmets and shoulder pads. Please consider the costs of shoulder pads, cleats, practice pants, mouth guards and helmets as you plan for the season.

Scholarship applications For Fall Football are due by June 15th
If awarded, you will receive a discount code to use during registration. The parent/guardian must also complete the online waiver and parent code of conduct forms.
Please remember, Bobcat Youth Football Organization is a volunteer driven league and we welcome all who can lend a hand.

Scholarship Application

“Bobcat Youth Football Organization is a non-profit, amateur, youth athletic association, whose mission is to harness the power of football and cheer-leading to build a better future, with great character in our student-athletes. Attitude, commitment, discipline, and sacrifice will be used to build a successful program. The goals of the Association are to allow every child in our community the opportunity to play competitive football and cheerleading.”
Criteria:

Athlete must be 6th grade or younger.

Athlete must reside within the feeder pattern to Byron Nelson High School
-
Commitment to attend a minimum of 80% of scheduled practices and games.

Application must be completed by a parent, guardian, or head of household, with all requested information provided and signed.

One (1) Application Per Child
Confidentiality: BYFO will use the information on the application only to decide if you child qualifies to receive a partial or full scholarship for eligible athletic activities. Confidentiality will always be maintained. Applicants are guaranteed that personal finances will not be discussed outside of the BYFO Board, Coaches, assistant coaches, or volunteer helpers will not be informed of a participant’s financial or scholarship status.

***Please note: Approval of a scholarship does not register the participant in the activity. You must still register the athlete in the sport desired.
