BYFO Cheer is a recreational program that introduces students to sideline cheer.  BYFO offers Cheerleading to youth grades Kinder through 6th grade.  The mission of BYFO Cheer is to create a fun, non-stressful atmosphere where students can learn basic cheerleading skills and what it means to be an integral part of Bobcat Nation.  BYFO Cheer provides students with the opportunity to build lifelong friendships while promoting loyalty, honesty, courage, leadership and sportsmanship as well as community involvement.

The cheer season runs from August through November, in coordination with the Bobcat Youth Football Organization's  flag and tackle football season.

ParticipatION in our Fall Cheerleading program includes the following:

• Custom game day uniform  (cost of uniform is separate from registration fee)
  • Custom Varsity brand skirt and shell with matching briefs
  • Coordinating custom bow and pom poms 
  • Pink bow & one pink pom (to be used in combination with a white or blue game day pom) for October games
• BYFO Cheer Camp (optional, but strongly encouraged)
• Bobcat Nation Day!! (optional)
• BYFO Youth Night @ NISD Stadium - All BYFO players & cheerleaders run out of the Bobcat Helmet before the big game! (optional)
• 9 week regular season followed by playoffs (exact number depends on team counts in divisions)
• Participation in the BNHS Homecoming Parade (optional)
• Other fun events throughout the season such as community events and BYFO Fundraising events
